Malaysia Monin Food Wastewater Treatment Project

Tri-High treated high-organic food wastewater for Monin in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia using six tubular UF membranes (MO104G66.03i8TV) at 250 m³/D capacity. The fouling-resistant system removes COD, SS, and colloids effectively, achieving treated effluent below 30 mg/L COD and 5 mg/L SS, meeting Malaysia's Environmental Quality Act discharge standards.

Case Details

Client Location: Kuala Lumpur

Application: Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Membrane Quantity and Model: six tubular UF membranes, MO104G66.03i8TV

Equipment Capacity: 250m³/D

Project Characteristics:

The food wastewater from Monin in Malaysia contains high levels of organic matter, suspended solids (SS), and chemical oxygen demand (COD). Water quality varies significantly and can foul membranes, making treatment difficult. The system uses the tubular UF membrane with strong fouling resistance to effectively remove colloids, large organic molecules, and suspended solids. High surface flow reduces clogging and extends membrane life. Online and regular chemical cleaning maintain a stable flux. Treated effluent has less than 30 mg/L COD and 5 mg/L SS, meeting discharge limits under Malaysia's Environmental Quality Act.
