 L'Oréal Cosmetics Wastewater Treatment Project
Case Details

Client Location: Moscow

Application:Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Membrane Quantity and Modelsix tubular UF membrane,MO83G66.03i8TV

Equipment Capacity: 300m³/D

Project Background:

Tri-high's first tubular membrane project in Russia focuses on the treatment of cosmetics wastewater generated by L'Oréal, originating from equipment cleaning and raw material blending processes. The wastewater is characterized by high chemical oxygen demand (COD) and suspended solids (SS) concentrations, along with significant variations in water quality. The system employs tubular UF membranes as the core treatment technology, complemented by online and periodic chemical cleaning to mitigate fouling and maintain performance. Stable membrane flux is consistently achieved under operational conditions. Post-treatment effluent demonstrates over 99% removal of suspended solids and turbidity below 1 NTU, while significantly reducing the load and associated costs for downstream advanced treatment. This solution delivers a reliable and efficient approach to managing high-strength wastewater in the high-end cosmetics manufacturing sector.
